Keep the Gold, Drop the Stone
Lessons Without the Luggage
Looking back on our experiences can help us recognise what we've learned about ourselves, our relationships and the choices we want to make in the future.
Sometimes, though, the lessons we value are closely connected with difficult feelings. We may remember what an experience taught us whilst also carrying regret, resentment, sadness or self-blame about what happened.
This EFT tapping session invites you to explore the possibility of keeping what you've learned without continuing to carry the same emotional weight.
The script acknowledges the wisdom, resilience and understanding you may have gained through past challenges. It then moves through the feelings that can remain attached to those experiences, before focusing on the intention to release what no longer feels helpful.
For women living abroad, this may resonate with experiences of starting again, adapting to unfamiliar circumstances or making decisions that changed the direction of their lives. You may value what those experiences taught you whilst still having complicated feelings about them.
Not every difficult experience needs to teach you something, and you don't have to feel grateful for pain or loss. This session offers a reflective way to honour any learning you do recognise whilst giving yourself permission to move forward with greater self-compassion.
Also included is an introductory video to EFT/Tapping, providing insights into what EFT/Tapping is, the tapping points used, and how to follow along with the tapping script.
Please note: this EFT/Tapping Script is also available in the Self-Healing Bundle which focuses on letting go of the past.
