This 1-card in-depth card reading focuses on the question: how do I know when it's better to take a step backwards? and is the perfect reading for when you've come so far on a journey, whether that's towards a lifetime achievement or goal, and you find yourself challenged or struggling, unsure whether you should forge ahead or take a step backwards.
When you think of the idea of taking a step backwards, most of us would compare that with failure. Think of it from a career perspective, gaining promotion is celebrated more than taking a step backwards to, possibly, a less-pressured role, for example. Or when a corporation, company, or government introduces a change in policy, for example, a change that doesn't initially appear to help anyone impacted to progress further; again that's considered a step backwards, a failure.
However, when we view taking a step backwards as failure, are we missing something? Are we blinkered, not seeing or appreciating that, sometimes, taking a step backwards may actually help us progress forwards? Is it time to view taking a step backwards differently so we don't feel shamed in doing so, especially when it could be the better option? Or should we always just forge ahead?
That's what we're seeking advice and guidance on: how do I know when it’s better to take a step backwards?
The message shared with us by the angels and our spirit team through this card reading is given through the Journey of a Lonely Soul Oracle deck created by Charles Harrington, artwork by Anna Majboroda.
