Okay. So before we begin. I'm putting my hand up. I don't know much, if anything, about Egyptian deities. So I've had to do a little bit of research on Horus before I can pass the angels' message onto you.

Horus is deemed one of the most significant of the ancient Egyptian deities and most well-known as the protector of the rulers of Egypt. He is also considered to be avenger of wrongs, defender of order, uniter of the two lands, and a god of war. It's believed he was the son of Isis (an Egyptian winged goddess who could travel between the Underworld, heaven and earth) and Osiris (who was murdered by his brother, Set).

He is depicted, as you can see, as an Egyptian eagle-headed deity.

You may (or may not) have heard of the Eye of Horus. This is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, royal power, and good health. It was the eye that Horus lost in his fight against his Uncle, Set (who had killed his father). The Eye of Horus became one of the most important symbols in ancient Egypt.

Horus is known for his foresight, psychic awareness and his ability to travel between the worlds (underworld, heaven and earth). He is referred to as the Cosmic Gateway as he can help us to travel with our mind through meditation and prayer and harness the universal energy that surrounds us. He is also said to create pockets of energy in the world where we can access light, wisdom and insight.

It is believed that should you ever see the symbol of the Eye of Horus, it is Horus inviting you to acknowledge how you are influencing the energy around you and vice versa.

At first, when I looked at this card, I found the imagery a bit intimidating, even frightening. The eagle seemed very solemn-faced. But the more I look at the card, the more I see strength and even majesty. And I feel that this card conveys a very powerful message.

Eagles, both in present and ancient times, convey the powers and messages of the spirit; it is man's connection to the divine because it flies higher than any other bird. So it is fitting that one of the significant Egyptian deities is depicted in this form. If we jump to more modern times, the eagle is the emblem of the USA; the fierce beauty and proud independence of this bird symbolises the strength and freedom that America claims to represent.

Horus is dressed as we would expect an Egyptian ruler to dress. But his dress is also an armour, referring back to his references as avenger of wrongs, defender of order, god of war. On his chest sits the Eye of Horus.

The darkness behind Horus not only ensures that he remains the focal point of the card but it depicts the cosmos and Universe through which he travels.

The message on this card is "Your thoughts are magnetic and powerful. Miraculous changes are occurring".

The angels are advising you, through this depiction of Horus, that you have the ability to manifest miraculous experiences. Every part of you (your thoughts, words, actions) are just like magnets. They draw in the energy that abundantly creates your world.

The Universe is offering you guidance, support, abundance, healing when you choose to connect to it. This card is telling you that this energy is strong, you just have to connect into it.

Perhaps you're feeling a bit lost in an area of your life at the moment, then the angels are inviting you to connect in with them through meditation, prayer etc to receive guidance and direction.

Perhaps you're second-guessing a decision you've made or the path you're on. Again tune into the angels for guidance. But also trust your own internal wisdom and guidance because it is strong and, when you listen to it, will guide you.

Perhaps you've told yourself that something just isn't possible for you, your dream will only ever stay a dream. Remember that this is a powerful time for manifesting. What you think and what you believe is magnetic and powerful. So if you believe your dream will only ever stay a dream, it will. But if you believe that your dream can and will become your reality, your energy will change and start to attract that reality into your life.

Now is the time for believing. Now is the time to have faith. Now is the time to trust. Now is the time to listen to your heart and intuition.

When an eagle appears (as it does here), you are invited to be courageous and stretch your limits. Don't blindly accept the status quo; rather reach higher and become more than you believe you are capable of. Perhaps you need to look at things from a new and higher perspective. Whatever you feel called to do, know that the future holds possibilities that you may not yet be able to see. You are about to take flight.

As a final point, I also feel, as a nod to the seriousness (and darkness) I feel penetrates from this card, that there is also a gentle warning. Your energy and ability to manifest is like a magnet. You just need to connect into the Universe. But just as you are invited to manifest abundance, health, dreams... all that is positive, so too can you manifest negativity if that's where your mind and energy are focused. So I feel a gentle caution here that you should raise your energy and vibration to a more positive space and remove your focus from anything negative. Although I feel the card's message is encouraging you to exercise your postive manifesting magnetism, I feel the well-coined phrase, "where attention goes, energy flows", is also quite important to bear in mind because you want to move your attention away from anything negative and low vibrational.
