prosperity & courage

This card is simply shimmering with tones of gold. And so it should be, as gold on an oracle card represents both prosperity and success, the message of this card.

However... does the green of the angel's robes also catch your eye, I wonder? Do you need some healing (represented by the colour green) in order for you to step forward into prosperity? Do you need to clear limiting beliefs about your worthiness, beliefs that are preventing you attracting the prosperity and abundance that is yours by Divine right? Do you need to cut cords with familial and societal stories about money and how you have to, for example, work hard to earn money or that money doesn't grow on trees?

Green is such a poignant colour on this card that I suspect each and every one of us could do with some healing in relation to prosperity and abundance.

What I find interesting on this card is that Archangel Ariel is holding a cornucopia (or hollow goat's horn) which is clearly filled with golden treasures and, yet, those treasures aren't freely flowing towards us. Rather they remain within the cornucopia itself. It's as if Archangel Ariel is showing us that there is abundance waiting for us but that she can't release it to us, just yet, as we're not ready to receive it or are, in some way, blocking it.

The message at the bottom of the card seems to underline what I'm feeling about the cornucopia: "Your material needs are provided as you follow your intution and manifest your dreams into reality". It feels like the abundance and prosperity is waiting to flow into our lives, we just need to follow our intuition to set it free, to openly receive what is ours by Divine right, and to manifest it into our reality.

It's as if we're like the little Dutch girl with her finger pressed against the dijk stopping a torrent of water gushing through the hole and breaking down the dijk with its sheer force. We have our finger pressed against the wave of abundance that is waiting to flow into our lives. We just have to remove our finger, allow the wall to fall down, and let the abundance flood in. We just have to be open to receive and, when we are, the treasures will flood into our life: treasures that come in the form of opportunities, ideas, money... everything we need to realise our highest dream and fulfil our life purpose.

Archangel Ariel is present on this card as she works with instant manifestation and creates the support we each need in order to fulfil our life purpose. She works alongside Source energy to ensure the miracles, both large and small, we need will be provided for us. However, we need to be open to receiving them, we need to open our eyes to the miracles and blessings that come our way every day and be grateful for them.

Archangel Ariel is here to grant whatever you need to serve those you are called to serve, and to provide whatever you need to fulfil your life purpose. You just need to ask for her help and let her guide you accordingly.

Archangel Ariel appears in our second card today with the message "Be courageous, and stand up for your beliefs".

In this card, Archangel Ariel looks tougher, as if she's ready for battle. And in the background we can see lions/lionesses. This is significant for a couple of reasons. Firstly Archangel Ariel's name means "Lionness of God" and secondly lions (and lionesses) are symbolic throughout the world for courage, bravery, fearlessness.

I find the whole feeling of this card a lot stronger and tougher compared to the previous gentle and more "giving" feeling of the first card. There's sheer determination in Archangel Ariel's eyes, determination that she wants us to mirror in our own eyes because now is the time to stand up for your personal beliefs. You're a lion leading the way, not a sheep following the flock.

The colours that stand out for me are that of browns, white and the piercing dark blue of Ariel's eyes.

Brown represents Mother Earth. In this card this says to me that Archangel Ariel invites you to really go back in to discover your true self, to uncover your personal beliefs, to follow the convictions that feel natural and right to you. It may not be easy as you may be going against the grain of what society believes or, indeed, against the beliefs of your parents and upbringing. But now's the time to show true courage, to be truly honest and be who you know you truly are.

White always represents Source energy. And I feel the presence of white on Ariel's wings is significant here. The colour shows us that when we show courage, when we stand up to our own beliefs and live our life honestly and truthfully, Source (Divinity, God, The Universe... whichever name you prefer) will have your back, will stand behind you and support you every step of the way. Wings and feathers are also symbols that the angels are with us. So when you stand up for your beliefs, the whole angelic realm will be cheering you on and supporting you.

The beautiful dark blue in Ariel's eyes is simply piercing and hard to miss. Dark blue is the colour of strength and this card is all about courage and strength. Whilst it may not be easy breaking away from the flock to follow your beliefs, when you do you'll find great strength and courage and, quite frankly, nothing will stand in your way.

Archangel Ariel's warrior presence on this card shows us that when we exercise courage and stand up for our beliefs, even when other may disagree with us, that she will keep us safe and bathe us in the light of a loving warrior. By standing up for your beliefs, you're a role model for others, giving them the strength and courage to stand up for their own beliefs and principles.

As in the previous card, when you feel a wobble, simply call upon Archangel Ariel for support and guidance.

I find this a truly fascinating combination of cards.

Not only do we see Archangel Ariel in two different lights: one as a giver of prosperity and another as a light warrior keeping us safe, both cards provide a greater and stronger message when combined than when considered separately.

Although each card carries a strong message in itself, when considered together it feels like a rocket has just blasted off into space!

Archangel Ariel is here to shower us with the abundance and prosperity needed to fulfil our life purpose and walk our life path. We need only ask and openly receive that prosperity. But what is our life path? What is our life purpose? That's where the courage lies because how you live your life, as an example to others, and how you choose to walk along your chosen path, may ruffle some feathers, may go against the grain of what many around you think and believe. And that takes courage.

However, when you embrace your life and your beliefs courageously, greater abundance will flow into your life.
