This card is filled with violet as Saint Germain is deemed to be the overseer and Ascended Master of the Violet Flame, the energy of transformation and purification.

Indeed, in his time on earth, Saint Germain was deeply interested in alchemy and could transform lead into gold. So it comes as no surprise that the alchemic Ascended Master is so closely linked to the transformative and, in itself, alchemic Violet Flame.

Through Saint Germain and the energy of the Violet Flame we can release ourselves from karma. Karma is the spiritual law of cause and effect where the intent and actions of an individual (aka the 'cause') influence the future of that individual (aka the 'effect'). In terms of spiritual development, karma is about what a person has done, is doing and will do. It is neither about punishment nor is it about reward. It merely makes a person responsible for their own life, and how they treat other people.

We experience many depths of karma. Some we carry forward from past lives, some we inherit from familial beliefs, some from societal beliefs we adopted as we grew up and interacted with influencers and peers at school and within our community, some are beliefs we've created for ourselves as a result of life experiences and trauma, protection we can turn to when face with future similar experiences.

Karma, in essence, is like old programming. We've gathered and accumulated various beliefs as we moved through life and, like a computer that hasn't been updated or upgraded, many of those beliefs are pulling and slowing us down. Many of those beliefs no longer represent the person we have become, or the person we strive to be.

Through Saint Germain and the Violet Flame we can cleanse our energy of anything that is no longer serving us; beliefs that are outdated, beliefs that keep us stuck. If we hold onto the beliefs and energy that no longer serves us, we have no room for anything more loving to take its place. And, so, by calling on Saint Germain and the Violet Flame to cleanse our energy and remove beliefs that are not serving us, we can make room for something more loving to fill us up.

On a meditational and visualisational level, we can imagine the violet flame entering through the top of our head and washing over and through our body, rinsing and releasing it of anything that no longer serves us; washing those outdated, those obsolete beliefs down through the soles of our feet and deep within Mother Earth.

On a conscious level, we can make new and different, more aligned choices, each and every day; we can end repeating patterns that we know no longer benefit us; we can open our heart and our mind to new concepts, new ideas, new perspectives; we can speak up and show up when our heart urges us to without allowing the fearful voices in our head talk us out of actios that come from the heart. Gradually, in so doing, we step out of and extend our comfort zone. And when we step out of our comfort zone we can choose to make our own choices and decisions, ones that in line with our personal principles and ethics, rather than taking on those of anyone who may be around us, anyone who may wish to influence us.

Stepping outside our comfort zone empowers us to make choices and decisions now; choices and decisions that are in alignment with who we are at soul level; choices and decisons we can follow through on with intent and purpose. It makes us responsible for our own life, and how we treat those around us be they people, nature, or the animal kingdom.
