I invite you to sit down to reflect for the third time during this Start Monday with Gratitude experience.
Maybe it's the way our brains are wired, maybe it's the way we were taught as kids and it's stuck, however doesn't it seem strange that whenever something goes wrong or something is missing, you notice the gap in your life, more so than when you're doing something regularly and all the time, such as daily gratitude, to bring more fulfilment into your life? When I forget to follow my daily gratitude practice, after a few days, something just doesn't feel right. And yet when I am following my daily gratitude practice, I don't always noticed just how well everything's flowing.
Often when we do something, like follow a daily gratitude practice, we fail to notice the subtle positive changes that happen in our life because they happen over a long period of time. Because they're so subtle on a day to day basis, it's all too easy to keep traveling forward without realising just how much our life is being impacted. That's why it's important to take time out to look back, to reflect.
If we don't take time to periodically reflect, we'll never appreciate just how far we've come and how much we've changed.
