Gratitude will shift you to a higher frequency, and you will attract much better things

video transcript

Have you ever thought that everything, including you and me, is just energy, vibration?

We may look solid, your coffee cup may look solid, even the bus, train or car that carries you to work may look and feel solid, but none of them are solid. If you were to look at each of them through a super strong microscope, all you would see would be vibrational energies.

Because everything is energy, because nothing is actually solid, everything can be impacted by the energy of something else.

If you take yourself, for example, how do you feel when you enter a room where there has just been an argument? You can sense a heaviness in the atmosphere, right? You might even think of the phrase “you could cut the atmosphere with a knife” because it feels so thick and dense.

And how will the heaviness of the atmosphere affect you if you spend time in that room, time among the people in the room who just had the argument? Your energy will be impacted and start to feel heavy too, right? You may have walked into the room ready for a party and, before you know it, you’re feeling low and the last thing on your mind is partying, right?

What, now, if you enter a room where there the party is in full flow, where people are chatting and laughing and having fun? How do you feel after spending a few minutes in that atmosphere? It’s contagious, right? Your energy rises and you enjoy being there, having fun.

How will the energy of the party atmosphere have affected you after only a few minutes? Your energy will start to feel light, you may find yourself physically and emotionally energised, you may find yourself laughing and having fun. You want to stay and enjoy the party, right?

That's how other energies impact us. However, let’s dive even deeper.

Our personal energy and vibration will not only be impacted by others (and vice versa), it will also impact our experiences of life, it will impact what we attract towards us. As the Universal Law of Attraction states: like attracts like.

What this means is that when your energy is low, you’ll attract things with a similar low energy to you. And when your energy is high, you’ll attract things with a high energy towards you.

So, if you’re in a bad mood, feeling low and angry, what kind of day do you think you’ll have? What kind of experiences do you think you’ll attract? According to the Universal Law of Attraction you’ll attract experiences and things with the same low vibration. So, if you’re in a bad mood, feeling low and angry, do you think you’ll have an easy day filled with things to be grateful for or do you think your day will be a struggle, filled with challenges and obstacles. It’s going to be the latter, right?

And if you smile throughout your day, if you feel cheery with the attitude that nothing will pull you down, do you think anything will pull you down that day? Even if something challenging happens, you’ll not view it in the same challenging light as you would have done had your vibration been already low. Rather, you’ll overcome the challenge and move on, wearing your smile and retaining your cheerful attitude.

Gratitude carries a high energy. So, now we understand the principles of the Universal Law of Attraction, can you see that when you practise gratitude and raise your vibration, you’ll attract other high-energy experiences to you; experiences that bring joy and happiness, experiences that impact your life in a positive way, experiences that bring abundance to you in all different ways?

daily gratitude practice

Where's your vibration right now?

It's Monday morning, you're probably back at work... maybe your vibration is a little low at the moment?

As we know, gratitude is a high vibration so one way to raise your current vibration (and make you feel much better) is to express gratitude.

So, take some time to express gratitude, raise your vibration, and invite all the good things that life wants to send your way.

Spend today with the attitude that nothing will pull you down.

Walk around with a smile on your face, hum a tune to yourself, do anything that will keep your vibe high. And then take note… how do others behave around you?

What positive things come your way?

Even when we’re focused on keeping our vibration high, someone or something negative can impact it and bring it lower.

Keep an eye today on anyone or anything that lowers your vibration.

Be consciously aware of when this happens and, as soon as you’re aware that your vibration has been lowered, take some time away, just a few minutes, and express gratitude for anything and everything in your life.

Watch how you attitude begins to change, and you feel yourself return to your higher vibrational state.

I have a challenge for you today. I want you to hunt out the grump in your life.

We all know of someone, that person who just moans and groans about everything, the person everyone tries to avoid.

I want you to spend some time with them, perhaps over a cup of coffee, and every time they moan about something, answer them with something positive, put a positive spin on everything they talk about.

Watch what happens to them and to you.

Spend today, or at least part of today, feeling low emotions such as frustration, anger, sadness, internally (ie feel them inside but don’t take your feelings out on anyone else).

Observe how your day pans out.

Does your day flow with ease?

How do people behave around you?

This week has been a week of ups and downs, a week of challenges and observations.

Can you see, as a result of all the experiments this week, how much different your life could be if you carry a high vibration, compared to a low vibration?

Today I want you to work on creating a short morning ritual (it only needs to last a few minutes) that uses gratitude to raise your vibration at the beginning of each and every day.

Perhaps you write down some prompts that you can look at as soon as you wake up which remind you to start your day with gratitude.

Whatever you create, put it in writing and place it somewhere where you’ll see it every morning.

Then I want you to commit to expressing gratitude for a few minutes every morning before your day fully begins.

Did you practise your new daily morning gratitude ritual this morning?

What difference do you notice in how you feel as a result?

Write your feelings and observations down so you can refer to them on a morning when you waken up and can’t be bothered following through on your ritual. They’ll act as a reminder of just how impactful a daily gratitude practice can be.

and let's not forget...

Looking for a higher vibration? The only way is up...

have gratitude wherever you go...

how to download your wallpaper

Before copying one of the pictures below, you'll want to quickly check your screen settings because the worst thing you can do is use a wallpaper with an aspect ratio that differs from the aspect ratio of your screen.

The aspect ratio of a rectangle is simply the proportion between width and height. The most common are 16:9, 16:10 and 4:3. And it will be for these 3 sizes that I shall provide you with your free wallpaper.

To find your screen resolution follow this basic guide. Steps for your computer may vary slightly but I hope this will give you some guidance:

  • Right-click the desktop and select Display settings.
  • Scroll down until you see "Resolution" (you may have to choose an "Advanced" option)
  • To find your aspect ratio, divide the width over the height. For example, if my resolution is 1920 x 1080 then I would divide 1920 over 1080 to get 1.778, which indicates a 16:9 resolution. Similarly, 1.6 indicated 16:10 and 1.333 indicates 4:3
  • When you've calculated your screen's aspect ratio, go to the picture below that matches that size
  • Right click on the picture and select "Set as Desktop Background"
  • Choose whether to "Fill", "Fit", or "Stretch" your picture - if you've chosen the right size "Fit" will be your best option
  • Select "Set Desktop Background" and you're done

  • First, save the wallpaper image to your phone by pressing your finger on the wallpaper image and hold down on it until you see a menu.
  • From here, click the “Save image” tab, and it will begin downloading.
  • The next step is to set this saved image as your wallpaper by pressing and holding a blank area on your screen (meaning where no apps are placed), and home screen options will appear.
  • Select 'add wallpaper' and choose whether the wallpaper is intended for 'Home screen', 'Lock screen', or 'Home and lock screen'.
  • Another set of options will appear where you can choose where the photo you would like to use will be coming from, namely the Gallery.
  • If necessary, crop the image to a suitable size. Once satisfied, simply click 'Done'.

  • First, save the wallpaper image to your phone by pressing your finger on the wallpaper image and hold down for about 2 seconds until a menu appears.
  • From here, click “Save Image“, and it will begin downloading.
  • The next step is to set this saved image as your wallpaper by, first, going to the 'Photos' app and selecting the wallpaper photo you've saved there.
  • Click on the share icon on the lower left corner of the screen, then select 'Use as Wallpaper'.
  • Then choose to set the photo as either the lock screen, home screen or both.
