do you know that feeling?

Do you know that feeling?

Come on, you know the one...

It's that feeling in the pit of your stomach telling you something's not right.
Or the feeling in your gut telling you someone's not quite who they seem to be.
Or that feeling that someone's watching you and you look up to see someone looking your way.
Or that weird creepy sensation you sometimes get when you walk in a house, that sensation that you're not alone (or is that just me??)

How often have you just known or felt something was off?
And, more importantly, how often did you ignore that feeling and just kept doing what you were doing?
The answer to the latter (if you're not one of my students following my Ignite Your Intuition course) will probably be, if you're completely honest with yourself, "way too often, Viv..."

At this point, you might be wondering something... How do I know that feeling was actually my intuition and not just fear?

It's a great question because fear and intuition can sometimes feel similar when we're first learning to recognise them.

For me, fear tends to become louder the more attention I give it. It encourages me to imagine everything that might go wrong and can leave me feeling anxious, overwhelmed or stuck. What I recognise as intuition tends to feel different. It's usually quieter and simpler, more like a knowing that appears without needing to argue its case. Learning to recognise the difference takes practice, however, once you begin to notice how each feels, trusting your intuition becomes much easier.

That little feeling, that little sensation, that little voice in your head. For me, that's part of how intuition can make itself known. It's a magical gift we all have that can completely transform our lives for the better and yet most of us are letting it whittle away and go to waste.

What are we humans like?!?!

When we're given something for free, we want it but we only end up wasting it, or we take it but never make use of it. And yet if something's not free we suddenly don't want it or claim we can't afford it or don't have time to use it (the last two, by the way, I call BS on every time - if you want something enough you'll find a way to afford it and you'll make time for it).
Honestly, it would be laughable if it wasn't so crazy.

In my facebook group, the one for my Udemy students, we play a game every week. Whilst it's fun, it also has a serious side. And the serious side is that it helps strengthen and hone your intuition. Not a bad serious side, if you're honest.

Do you want to have some fun too? After all, life should be all about having fun, shouldn't it?

Then here's what you need to do:
Look at the back of the two playing cards below and determine which one is from a black suit.
Easy, right?
And fun, right?

Now before you go looking to see if you are right, I invite you to write your answer down so your very clever, fast and cunning mind doesn't play tricks on you. That way, for sure, you'll know if you got this right, or not.

So, look at the back of the cards, write down your answer, and then (and only then) click on the image of the cards below to find out if you were right.
